I love how THQ ain't saying shit. They are too busy stroking it off to reviews to fix issues. Hell, the forum guy had a day off.

The game's solid. You're really...REALLY hating the game for what is minor set backs in comparison to the overall body of work done. I'm sorry you are having problems Xerxes but to be perfectly honest you're going overboard.

This game resembles world of warcraft only a small bit.

The artist Joe Madureira developed the style which is quite overly stated. In that it resembles warcraft in how warcraft resembles warhammer. I think if anything Darksiders has become something of its own with his enormous scale of things with so much detail and style that sets itself apart.

The environments might share something but it's fantasy and that's a given. Let's face it though, Makers are pretty much super sized dwarves and they are fucking awesome and a pleasure in comparison to the dwarves that we know.

I'm not having problems. I did notice blocky textures in a few parts. I've seen folks having major issues on the forum. I'm in the category of this sure could look better. I don't know why but in some parts aside from the grandness of things I think DS 1 looked better. I almost feel I could have went 360.

Now Sleeping Dogs is like crazy awesome.

My problems were fixed by validating the game files. I suspect something didn't decrypt right.

Not sure how I feel about this game so far. Not quite what I was expecting. Have ran into some minor bugs, but nothing game breaking. Really just waiting for the story to pick up, as I'm not really feeling it yet. Kinda miss War.

I wish Crow was a sarcastic bastard of a bird. Although he probably was and Death cut out his tongue. Guy is pretty mean.

Actually, I do. I wouldn't put War above him. Right beside him. They both do bad ass a little differently. War at least acted polite before threatening your life. Death don't give a fuck.

Like Crowfather tried to make a deal and Death was like bitch please. "Open the portal or die." "But who will open your portal." "I SAID BITCH!" War ran around doing favors. I can't wait to see how he handles Samael.

I think it's more or less a lack of a sidekick like Hamill in the first of any kind. I imagine that's what the raven, Dust is all about. Fills the same roll but he's.. just a bird.

I can't wait to pick up the Collectors Edition for this. I'm currently playing through the first one and enjoying the hell out of it. Love the dungeons.

How are the dungeons in this one without spoilers? Are they as puzzling as the first one is?

The only snag you'll hit is whether or not you need some sort of special ability you'll obtain later in order to progress through certain dungeons.

It's happened twice or three time so far and I'm thinking I've just encountered another area that requires me having an ability I don't yet have. Weee.

Meh, I feel like both games are pretty inane as far as art direction and writing, but are completely saved by their A+ mishmash of proven mechanics.

I'll agree some what but after Mass Effect 3 well...at least these stories are enjoyable even though they are by the numbers. Agreed for the most part but inane is a little harsh.

Anyone have a source on a collector's edition? Amazon seems to be out.

I think it's great, but since I was replaying the first in anticipation, I was caught way off guard by the sharp left turn the structure took. Where the first was more or less boom-boom-boom, go exactly where you need to go, this just opens up wide right after starting. To be honest it was a little off-putting, but then I hit the first proper dungeon and was like, okay cool, Darksiders is definitely still here, it's just been juicing.

In fact, I even found a mini-dungeon on the way there, which would have just been a simple jumping puzzle in the first, so that was badass. Overall, pretty impressed and very happy. Do wish there was more interaction with a sidekick or something though

Interesting. I think I ran into that a couple of times in the first one so far. would go through an area and then realize I need to buy this new weapon or something to help make the advance through areas easier.
