I'll probably play some Space Marine, if I got the time, which I doubt I ever will.

If I actually get some time, more Hot Shots Golf on the Vita (which is like crack) and Fallout New Vegas.
EDIT: My god, after watching the GT review, I need to buy Sound Shapes tonight. That game looks amazing.

I'm actually working on my backlog at present.
Picked up Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire and The Withcer 2 for £20 a piece. Should keep me busy for a few weeks. The first two are games I didn't pick up initially, as they aren't really genres that I enjoy. That being said, Red Dead has some fantastic gameplay mechanics and although herding cows bores me, they don't dwell on anything and the way the mechanics works are very nice, sound, and all the random things happening and quests beat GTA4's hands down. Walking out the saloon my first day in town to find a guy trying to stab a whore, being so shocked I didn't stop him before he just started stabbing her to death was haunting.

Over the weekend, I binged on Assassins Creed: Revelations. I'm having a lot of fun, and expect to wrap it up this week sometime.
Other than that, Mrs. is going to be out of the house most of the week. She's wrapping up a wedding cake that she's making for a friend with her mom at her mom's, so she's going to be gone most of the week. Smurfette can use her financial aid to buy her college textbooks starting tomorrow, and I expect her to be near the front of the line when the bookstore doors open. Busy week here. Have fun, peoples.

Well, my house is finally purged of all of the extra kids and in-laws and I can go back to playing games at night and not feeling like I'm waking people up. WoO! Here's what's on the docket this week: Rhythm Thief (3DS) - I'm on the last chapter of the game, which seems like it'll wrap up quickly. On the whole, I quite enjoyed the game, though there were a few rhythm games in the last chapter or two which really pissed me off. Thankfully I can count them on one hand and the rest of the game and the subsequent challenges were more than worth the price of admission. THe only lingering question is... why is Japan so obsessed with France? I've played several Japanese RPGs/puzzlers/adventure games of late that are set in France... odd... The Witcher (PC) - I didn't end up getting a chance to play this over the weekend. I intend to rectify this today. P4: Arena (360) - Stupid dpad. That's all I have to say about this. P3P (Vita) - Yes, I keep talking about it, but now that Rhythm Thief is done, I'm going to actually plunge back into P3P for realsies this time. Arena is really stoking my Persona urges and the only thing that may quench this fire is some social link time and a bit of demon fusion! Kingdom Hearts 3D (3DS) - I should fire this up, just to justify having bought it a week or so ago. Sigh. Oh, and probably some more Max Payne 3 or Sniper V2 so I can send them back to the game rental guys.

I'm playing housewife for the week. Since there's no school til next week and I'd just be sitting around home anyway, I went with my wife up over to Rocky Mount, NC where she'd doing her pharmacy school rotations for the year. She's at work and I'm at the house with the dog.
Being a housewife must be very boring. So far, I've had coffee, watched the Rocketeer, and munched on popcorn. Only six more hours til she's home!

Skyrim with my Magic/2H character, and Darksiders II.
Y'know, it's times like these I wish frederec was still around. He'd appreciate this complaint: "Why is it the more advanced mathematics I know, the less able I am to do simple arithmetic?"

Heh. I remember the good ol' days (last month) when I'd be able to stay home all day a few days a week. The worst thing is that I'd usually look forward to those days with the excitement of a kid on Christmas Eve but when they rolled around, I'd idly flip channels and maybe, just maybe, play a video game for a few hours. Then I'd get sleepy mid-afternoon and take a nap.
And I wish frederec was around too. I've had so many Persona related things to talk to him about... sob...

I had a great weekend. Spent it with my nieces and we watched the Perseid Meteor Shower together. We also played Skylanders, Eyepet, and I started a new male character in Skyrim so that I could marry Lydia (there's no way in hell I was going to explain to my nieces why my female character could have married Lydia). My youngest niece loves Lydia and quotes her famous line with almost perfect inflection.

Whoa, hallelujah. I was looking through my university billing for the fall semester when I noticed something unusual. It looked like the school was finally going to ask me to pay for the health insurance instead of sending the bill off to the VA like they've been doing the past couple years... right when they nearly doubled the price, to $710.
I emailed the VA rep at the university to ask if they couldn't still wrap up that fee into the VA's bill, and she got back to me with some great news. "Oh, yeah, I'll do that for you. I've actually never done that for you before, since veteran students usually have their own healthcare and don't use ours. Your health insurance has been paid for grants until now, and I can get that money refunded to you through the VA." I went in believing I'd have to deal with a surprise $700 bill and came out with the promise of a refund worth more than that. Praise the Lord.

Well, it's all official! We've bought a new horse. WOO! Can't wait to move in come October. I'm still paranoid that something will go wrong, but according to everyone, the deal is done on both ends (our house is sold and we've bought the new one) so now it's just a matter of trying to limit much more crap coming into the house.
Woo!

Skyrim - Playing a character that uses little offensive magic and will never use a weapon. So far it's been pretty tough, but once I get my block skill up a bit it should be fun. Very Captain America style without being able to throw the shield.

Sci-Fi up the wazoo today. I haven't sat home and watched TV all day in... years. We don't even get any kind of TV at home, so this is a rarity for me. So far, TV has given me The Rocketeer, Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, and now Star Trek: Insurrection. I think I only saw this one once, back when it was released. I remember nothing about it.
