I didn't game much this week. Instead I've been catching up on TV shows since it's not that long until some of them return.

Puzzle Agent - I started playing this last night and will probably mess with it some more this weekend.

Persona 4: Arena - Gamefly didn't ship it, so I won't be playing it this weekend. Maybe it will ship in time for next week, and hopefully I have better luck with Sleeping Dogs next week as well. I had P4A pre-ordered but decided to cancel it for budget reasons since I can just wait to own it. I'll probably eventually end up buying both the 360 and PS3 versions when they're cheap because I'm crazy like that.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - I still need to get back to this. I should probably play some instead of watching some TV shows.

Dragon's Dogma - I haven't gone back to this either. I might just wait to finish it sometime later, or I should completely focus on it to try to finish it as soon as possible. If I get some other games sent soon I might switch to them, and if nothing else ships, maybe I'll stick with this.

Batman: Arkham City - Whenever I think about Dragon's Dogma, I think about this instead, so maybe I should just play it instead. I'm a little worried about trying to jump back into it, especially since I don't remember the controls, but maybe I'll just try it and see how it goes. At least it is open world so I can just mess around some and try to figure it out. I think I mostly remember what was happening with the story.

I should probably try to organize my backlog and start working through it. Although I actually am working through my TV show backlog, so maybe I'll just concentrate on that and then get to the games later. Another game in my backlog is Deus Ex: HR, and I think the DLC is on sale next week for XBL, so maybe I'll grab that then and try to get back into the game. After that, I'll only have a crazy amount of RPGs to try to get to, like Witcher 2 and Xenoblade.

Games for this weekend

Cat/Bush!: There is a kitten living in the overgrown bush at the property line. I plan to lure it into my grasp with my superior cold cut technology. Difficulty: Only spawn at night and is black.

SPAZ: Started a new game because I totally forgot what the hell I was doing anyway. Rough going so far.

GalCiv2: Because why not is why!!!

You're wasting your time, the drop rate from those is terrible. TERRIBLE. Besides, you'll probably have a few dogs camping as well, and they're probably run by bots. From China.

I've been at work far too long today.....

On a completely different note, today was my teacher orientation for my new job. Dunno if I mentioned it, but I'm the new Art teacher at my old high school. I swore I'd never go back, which lasted about 9 years. Job opportunities made me do it!

I think I'll celebrate by playing some Dead Rising 2 or Day Z when I get home.

May I suggest a bowl of water and some wet cat food? Although a bologna hero might feed you as you wait for the kitten.

Well the problem is that we've been leaving food and water on the porch anyway because The Cat (King of All Cats and Several Huumans) has decided to take the most temperate summer ever outside.

Well... ...what an interesting turn of events. Turns out my daughter is not moving after all. When my ex showed up to sign the papers to close on the house this morning the lender said they were not ready and they would have to close on Monday. My ex had warned them that if she drove down here from Ohio to sign the papers and they were not ready today that she would look for a new lender. This lender has given her several issues through this process by missing deadlines and paperwork errors. This was apparently the last straw. She is taking it as a sign that this was not the right house... ..or something like that. So, the good news is I get more Tay and Hai time (after this week when Emmy goes back). The bad news, my house is still going to be a bit crowded with junk that isn't mine.

Gnome and Karak agreeing on the same game. I know now I am in deep trouble.

I played around with the tutorial for awhile then got real creating my own world. I started off water and mountains. I turned it on peaceful so I can do my gaming Gnome act, exploring, picking flowers and mining everything I can. The only reason I stopped playing was a massive sinus headache that makes it all but impossible to keep my eyes open. With my pounding less now, i'm going back in. Maybe i'll see Karak online at 3 a.m. as i'm still playing this.

Peaceful is great but seriously play it normal. I loved Peaceful but once I turned on the monsters and the actual need to mine and stuff. The game completely changed into a masterpiece. I mean its honestly insane how in depth it is.

Oh, yeah I left that part out. I'm only starting on peaceful to get a feel for the game. That won't last long. Then I want to see the monsters. I will name them Karaks.

Seriously prepare. Some of the greatest weird blockish mysteries. I can't describe what its like to see a bit of gold almost miles below the area you are at and trying to get there. Its fucking insane.

Purple and ADD your stuff is NOW finally on the way.

The game was for anger management
The cup is so that you both can fight over it and work through your differences
The crafting kit is for making new clothes when you tear them off one another in fits of rampages "marriage sex"
The little cat, is to remind you that Purple is a pussy and occasionally you need to be nice to him hahahahaha!

Kidding the cat is obviously for eating.

I finished off Batman Arkham City last night, after a 4 month hiatus. Turns out inwas only 10 minutes from the end. I'm half tempted to fire it up again, since I had missed most of the side missions.

Dragon's Dogma just started the Wyrm hunt series of missions. Taking the game quite slowly at the moment. Just out of reach of maxing my Magical Archer profession, then I think I'm going to work on Assassin.

ME3 Fired up the multi again to try the Earth pack. So far no major unlocks, but the new Human Adept is rocking my socks off. Played mostly silver matches after remembering Bronze is nothing but Melee spamming Krogans.
