NYC is typically around $12 for a general ticket, more for 3D/IMAX. This is why I rarely go to the movies, and snatch up cheaper tickets when I can.

Funny enough this is in Newfoundland if i go to Ontario Its like half the price

Also i go see ALOT of movies in theater its something me and my gf enjoy.

Well, I noticed it had the stock as fuck Polcie Scanner sound effect.

My dad and I saw it for $5 a ticket, got free pops and popcorn.. so not that bad of a deal.
Except for the part where the movie was really shitty and by the numbers.
They even fucked up the reveal that Hausser actually was working for the bad guys the whole time and the whole thing was part of their plan, instead it wasn't? Ugh.
And just the strange timescale of everything and the lack of danger in the danger-zone.
The bad guys blew holes in the walls and kicked in windows, the rebels in the base should be dying soon after from that, in fact, the main character wasn't wearing a mask while they were doing Recall on him, he should have died in the chair.
The internal layout of the Fall Trail didn't make any sense, as in the freefall scene in the end, they didn't flip around really, so those walkways are pointless.
Also why were there guard patrols even? it's a fucking train, what the balls? And that was the whole invasion plan?

The movie was half-assed on all levels and didn't really show why things were so bad in the Colony, or that people there wanted to be their own country from England. Ugh.

This is my nearest theatre. I saw hunger games there in Imax and the highlighted is the price point...

Kurt Wimmer and Len Wiseman lack the creativity to make a decent sci-fi aesthetic, so they rip-off from better movies. It could have been called Total Recallminator Runner Report. It's pretty though. Some of the action sequences are quite good. Best movie to be watched on mute. Except Kate Beckinsale. Her hamming here is legendary.

But "phoning in" would mean Jessica Biel can act. And yeah, Katie Becks was the only one who knew what sort of a movie it was. She was like The Rock in Fast Five. Again, watch all other parts on mute. It's not the worst 90 minutes. There is a long-shot CGI sequence that is very cool followed by a very good on-foot chase.

Also, for a movie set in Britain and Australia, only Becks has an accent.
