Reboot Army of Two, well I suppose when the well is dry, it's reboot time!

I'll watch the Mass Effect DLC with mild interest, but I have no intention of buying it. I'm just curious if they are going to add in a bit of content before the end game. Tbh though, most ME content was pretty weak post game. Lair of the Shadowbroker was by far the best.

Yeah, they really should have just cranked it up to eleven. Go completely over-the-top with it, have them leap ten feet into the air and fist-bump at the end of a level, that kind of shit.

Man, I can remember playing RotT back in high school, I remember thinking of it as Doom's crazy cousin.

As for the ME3 DLC, if I can jump into it from the save you get dumped to after the credits I'll consider it, but I'm not even sure if I'd be interested then.

I am 99% sure that you can. That save positions you before you've initiated the end game, specifically so that you can go and do other things.

Oh, I know. I did read somewhere last night that you had to do it earlier in the game, which for me would be a dealbreaker as I'm not replaying it when I have other games to play. I'll try to track down the quote. Hopefully they're wrong.

EDIT: There was also something about completing this DLC changing the ending.

EDIT 2: It's implied in the beginning and end of this IGN article covering the news. Who knows if that's accurate or not, though.

I will admit, after watching the trailer, even with how dissatisfied I was with ME3's ending, turning down more ME will be tough.

"accessible early in the Mass Effect 3 narrative" sounds like it'll be available as part of the first round of side quests, but that doesn't mean it won't be there late in the game, too. Most prior DLC was like that. The mission was available once you had the freedom to roam the galaxy, but if you were loading a save near or even after the end of the game, it was still waiting to be completed.

If I had to guess, it probably means some new or edited cutscenes showing Leviathan as part of the fleet at the end of the game, or some new dialog with the Star Child.

yup. Traded in my copies of ME 1,2 and 3 for money for steam wallet during summer sale. Loved all of the ME games till the ending of 3. I liked the multi but hate the randomness of loot in packs. I read most of the ME novels. I bought all the DLC for 1&2. ME was my favorite IP of this gen. ME3 was alot of fun to play but those endings made me not give a fuck about ME anymore.

The first game was really good. I think they called it Overkill when you got powered up(may have name wrong) man that was fun. They should go even more over the top than that.

The 2nd game had cool gun customization but was bland. The best part of the 2nd game was when Nolan North was talking to russian Nolan North.

They need to have a game where Nolan North does every single voice. And then it breaks the fourth wall and you can meet AND play as Nolan North.

I mean, the guy already has his own award for best voice acting by Nolan North in a game featuring Nolan North. Let's just clinch it.

I haven't bought ME3, I think Ill wait and see if its comes out an a complete package on Steam. Had I not heard all the negative stuff I might have bought it earlier: am I bad person, or a crazy Steam fan?

The day ME3 comes out on Steam is the day that EA officially gives up on Origin.
