If you recall what enchantement you used (fortify strength?), I'd be willing to try...

glad to hear it. Like I said earlier, I loved the absurd bits and the combat had potential but I just couldn't spend the time I think I needed to really just get into a groove with it. I was playing it late at night after an incredibly long day at work (or after having my wife put me to work hauling boxes around like a minigame in Shenmue) and that just didn't make for an environment conducive to wonky combat.

I just got back from a day downtown at the Jays/Tigers game with my son. It was a fun day, even though my beloved Tigers lost (and how). I didn't realize how little my son knows about the rules of baseball though... and he was on a team a couple of years ago!

I'm so tired though. Sooo tired. Looking forward to digging into The Witcher some more now that those damned wraiths are gone!

Finished the Ryder White Campaign for Dead Island.

It's *very* different. As compared to the survivor campaign, where you're constantly using improvised weaponry and modding the hell out of them, Ryder has guns, and lots of them. He finds ammo as drops all over the place.

After nine hours of sitting in the Raleigh airport, we learned something. Never book a flight through Newark. The airline sent all of our bags ahead on an earlier flight, but ours got cancelled, so we'll be without our bags until we get sent out again on Monday.

At least we got stuck in our home towns!

Just cruising through... or, at least we're trying! Newark is the point from which we'll fly overseas. Apparently, they have one closed runway and that in conjunction with the storms screwed up the air traffic.

I think Spigot could of used you a few months back with his PS3 problems.

Anyone a Mario Tennis fan? At the moment I can't be Princess Peach. She seems to be a quick little bugger chasing down all my angled shots. I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my equipment or just play better tennis.

I was trying to remember what I had on my pick. when I went back into the game I checked it and remembered: It's a found item "Notched Pickaxe". Improved smithing and does 5 shock damage to melee opponents. I did smith it up to Legendary status and I think that helped. I have no idea where I found it; sorry.

Just killed the Bandit Leader in Bilebilge Mine (or some random crap name like that) found a flawless sapphire in the leader's strongbox and then found another while mining Orachalim (sp? That damned Orc metal ore) after I cleared out the mine.

Got my bike back from the shop! Shiny, pretty front tire! Just got to scrub it a bit before I do any Formula 1 max-lean turns. They are a bit slippery when they are fresh out of the mold. Washed it when I got it home. Haven't really had a chance to clean it up since the rains stopped.

We're looking at high-60's and low-70's this week! Yay! it's finally getting warm! I hope it doesn't get too hot: 75-80 really knocks me out!

Probably heading out to the Scottish Highland Games tomorrow. Beer Garden! Life is good!

Expect a box of loose PS3 parts to arrive at your door shortly. Maybe you can figure out how to keep all of the insides inside.

Made some more progress in The Witcher last night. After the Swamp and wandering around Vizima for all of Chapter 3, it's refreshing to be sauntering around Lakeside now. Plus there are lots of naked dryads to... help. And grumpy peasants to... help.

Thanks for checking, Buddha. I'll just continue to plug away at it...

Here's hoping you can enjoy yourself even without flinging about a 20ft piece of wood. The beer should help.

Per ADD, those boobies weren't worth catching. Otherwise she would of helped your weekend out with the waitress.

There is some innuendo in there. Unintentional i'm sure but...still there. Made my morning. Nice to see you have a regular internet connection again plus not a foot in the grave either any longer.

So it turns out that replacing the PS3 disc drive did not help. I was able to play FF XIII for about 20 minutes before the new drive started failing... I think we're just going to have to get a new PS3.

I'm holding off on replacing my PS3 until I see if there is an AC3 bundle or setting similar. The systems with the nice big HDDs all seem to be bundles up here but they're with games like inFamous 2 or MW3.

Reading your posts is like listening to a beat poet. I never quite know what's going on, but at least there's a sort of rhythm to it.

See, I've already got a bigger HDD in there. It's the rest of it that I need the most! Getting a smaller model will be nice, but I'll kind of miss having BC. Not that I ever play PS2 games, but knowing that I could is comforting.
