Ubi's "always on" DRM is one thing that is definitely not okay with me. My connection isn't the most stable in the world, and the idea of getting kicked out of a single-player game to make me even more pissed off than I would normally be when my ISP shits itself is not terribly appealing.

It has been speculated in this thread that you need to vote after the new Daily Deals have begun, so if you voted prior to the new ones coming up, try voting again in about an hour. I, too, don't have the badge and am certain that I have voted every day.

Did you check MW2 when MW3 was featured? Often they'll show the latest title but the entire franchise is on sale.

Hopefully you and I will both get it during the next round of voting. Fingers crossed!

All I picked up this sale.

DC Universe Online Power Bundle
Age of Empires Online - Starter Pack DLC Unlock
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction - Deluxe Edition
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction - Insurgency Pack
Ys Origin

Spend around under 50 bucks. Most sales were about 50% off and I really just got into age of empires online and picked up the DLC for DC Universe just because I tend to play it from time to time.

Going to grab Dead Rising 2: Off the Record while it's still 50% off. I think I'll wait until I see a few more flash deals and a community deal, but I doubt it'll be showing up there.

1000 Amps. Buy it: http://store.steampowered.com/app/205690/

If you like VVVVVV type games, you'll enjoy it.

Basically, you need to 'light' up each room and there are many rooms. When you find all the special blocks in a room (you just touch them) the room is complete and always lit. Leave a room before it is fully 'lit' and you lose the progress in the room.

It starts off bloody easy, but then you encounter some tricky jumps and it just starts getting better. Kind of exploration, kind of tricky jumps.

It's a platformer and it's only 6MB...it is Flash so you might even find the free version somewhere online.

I actually bought more this sale than any previously. Found a good mix of older games along with newer games with low requirements that I can run. Disappointed that I missed Ys: Origin, that popped up on a day I was away for work.

EU III Chronicles 7.49 USD
Fallout 3 - Game of the Year 5.36 USD
Fortune Summoners 4.99 USD
Galactic Civilizations II 4.99 USD
The Longest Journey + Dreamfall 6.24 USD
Oblivion Game of the Year Deluxe  6.24 USD
Risen 4.99 USD
Sins Trinity 4.99 USD
Tropico 4 7.49 USD
The Walking Dead 14.99 USD

Whichever God you worship demands you purchase Bastion for $3.75.

It's amazing.

I got the last bit of the badge! I still wish they had done the achievements/contests of previous sales, but oh well.

My final tally:

Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition
Tropico 4: Steam Special Edition (Gift)
Mission Runway (Gift, don't ask)
The Walking Dead (Gift)
Sins Trinity
Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb DLC
Warlock: Master of the Arcane (Gift)
SpaceChem (Gift)
Defense Grid: The Awakening: You Monster DLC (Gift)

A much smaller haul than previous sales, and a big thanks to my awesome friends who gifted me some great games (and Mission Runway). I spent a total of $10.72, which I'm pretty sure is the least amount I've ever spent during a Steam sale. IIRC, during my first Steam summer sale I spent somewhere around $200-250.

Here is my haul, excluding a couple of gifts that I gave to several friends:

Just Cause 2 DLC: Black Market Aerial Pack, Just Cause 2 DLC - Agency Hovercraft, Just Cause 2 DLC - Monster Truck
Guardians of Graxia Elves and Dwarves Expansion
Cargo! (VivaMedia)
Still Life Collection
1000 Amps
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Botanicula
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
Shoot Many Robots
Choplifter HD, Choplifter HD - Ostrich Chopper, Choplifter HD - Night Avenger Chopper, Choplifter HD - Arrowhead Chopper, Choplifter HD - Albatross Chopper
Vessel
Qube
Batman 1 and 2 and Gotham City Impostors Bundle
L.A. Noire Complete Edition
Frozen Synapse: Red DLC
Binding of Isaac Wrath of the Lamb

For a total of $73.43, which isn't awful, but more than I thought it would be. All those little purchases add up, plus the couple of bigger ones. The Batman Franchise for $24.99 was my high for the sale.

I got the final badge as well after this last vote. I really did miss the collection of achievements, but I was able to spend that time actually playing through some of the games instead of jumping all over the place.

I'm glad Arphahat has continued the insane Steam collect-a-thon that he and I were once so well known for.

Hah! After you said this, I went back to check the past couple sales and it didn't look like I had posted my haul from the previous two big sales, so I went and calculated... and it was right about where I am this time. Amusingly, I was thinking that this time was way more that the past couple times.

I will justify it by saying it is a little more than the price of one new console game, so I am still happy.

You definitely scored some good deals. I was just glad to see that one of us hasn't slowed down quite so much.

Here's my haul. I couldn't tell you what I paid for it because I'd either be impressed and gloat at how far from what I THINK I spent on it I am or cry because it's worse than I think.

Hmm... did I actually miss the Ys: Origins sale? Arg. Ah well, no rush.

A few of the games were more than I'd usually spend in a sale, but this wasn't actually that bad. I keep thinking I bought more than I did, probably because of all of the voting.
