It looks like Machinarium is coming to the Vita now, at least according to the ESRB, so there's something to look forward to.

Also, some English screens for Ragnarok Odyssey:

Great to hear that Machinarium is coming to the Vita. That game would look stunning on the display.

I've never looked too deeply into the Ragnarok games. Are they your standard JRPG fare or is there something more to them?

I think it's a Korean MMO series? I've never looked at them before, I know nothing about the "universe". This one is more of a Phantasy Star Online/Monster Hunter style game with online co-op and it's looking great. Fully customizable characters, class switching, that sort of thing. It's been getting some very good import reviews.

Yeah. I remember hearing a lot about 'Ragnarok Online' a while back... hell, I might have signed up for it at one point (was it a browser based MMO at one point?) and I think I remember seeing stuff about it on the 3DS or somesuch.

Interesting. If it has proper internet support, that would be cool. My biggest problem with a lot of these monster huntery type games is that half the time they just use ad-hoc/local multiplayer instead of going online and I can't be bothered to jump through the hoops, esp. since I don't know anyone else with a Vita within 100 miles of me. Well, maybe Trackzero, if he's still alive.

That's what's also making me a little leery about SH: Book Of Memories. On the one hand, it's already taking a risk going the action route, but I could probably give it a pass on that as long as it doesn't require me to have to play with other people. If that happens and it doesn't let me play over the internet, insta-no-sale right there.

Oh, I'm with you 100% on that. When it was originally released in Japan it was AdHoc only, but they patched in online play after release. XSEED has already said they're including that in the North American release, which is what has me interested in the first place. Playing a game like this alone, since I don't know anyone else to play with locally, wouldn't be worth it.

Preorder the AssCreed Vita bundle and get a Ezio Auditore Gauntlet Replica!

Doesn't look like the bundle has a memory card though. Not even a small one. Seems not well thought out. O_o

That is pretty stupid. At least the bundle is the same price as a standalone system.

Hustle Kings is discounted to $4.89 this week. The demo was fun enough, anyone have the full game? Also the digital version of Hot Shots is $19 ($25 w/o Plus).

You only get a discount on the gauntlet from what the details said... not that I would want one of those. I pre-ordered mine off amazon. It's gonna be an expensive chunk of time with the Avengers set coming out... and my girlfriends birthday between both releases >_>

So it seems like my Vita has turned into a pure Lumines device. Every time I take this game out, I'm drawn to putting right it back in. O_o

At least you can take it out. It's just sitting there on the memory card and tempts me every time.

So I'm trying to transfer my P3P save file from my PSP memory card to the Vita. My god, they don't make this easy, do they? I basically have to trick the Vita into thinking it has a new save that I just made...

What the hell are you doing. I plugged my PSP and Vita into the PS3 at the same time. Moved the save file to PS3. Then moved it over to Vita.

Which is all well and good except that my PS3 is currently in a box in the basement in several pieces. And I can't seem to find my PSP AC adapter anywhere to boot. This was the best I could do.

I did get the files moved over eventually but man, it was a real pain in the arse.

Can't you just use the PC data transfer utility? As long as you're not talking about a 1000 PSP don't they all charge over USB now?

That might have worked... but when I did a bit of reading last night, it seemed like people were trying to just do a straight data swap from PSP to PC to Vita and it didn't work, hence all of the jiggery-pokery to trick the system into thinking you have an old save file instead of the new one you make the Vita create for you.

It's not like I'll never get a PS3 (which would make this whole process much smoother) but I can't really afford to run out and drop $300+ right now. Sigh.

And I would have probably tried to charge over USB but that is SLOOOOOW on the PSP and I wanted it done RIGHT THEN!

How much is that on the store? I really enjoyed Retribution, I was hoping R3 would pick up with James Grayson as the main character, especially with how Retribution ended.

$19.99 I was wondering if it was added just yesterday or supposed to be on sale. PSN updates are so wonky.

Eh, I'll just wait for a sale then, I'm sure it will be eventually.

You guys, I think I'll have to finally get a Vita soon. My PSP-1000 is literally falling apart.
