My wife is the same way. Racing games really do it to her.
I voted for Walking Dead too.

The Longest Journey is a straight up adventure game, so there is no stealth or combat, thankfully, although some of the puzzles are somewhat obtuse. However, that's more than made up for by an epic adventure and one of my all-time favorite game soundtracks. It was also breathtakingly gorgeous when it came out, although that was 13 years ago, so cut the game some slack.

I cannot recommend the series highly enough.

Edit - The Longest Journey + Dreamfall is $6.24. Do it!
Listen to the Gnome. I'm still thanking him for introducing me to the series.

If you grab Dead Island at the Xmas sale, we'll have to do some co-op. Beating up the dead in that game is more fun with others.

Purple Santa - At some point we'll both have to snag the PC version so that we can play together, once you get a new machine, that is. That will be fun!

I just finished the second episode. Lovely stuff. I voted for it to help spread the love for anyone who didn't bite the first go-round.

Yeah, my real problem is I own most of the library. Either due to wanting the game day 1 or relatively early, or due to other sales in the past.

I ended up on the bathroom floor trying not to puke after playing Half-Life for the first time.

Gave it a go about 5 years later.

And ended up on the bathroom floor trying not to puke.

I have friends like that, Clark and JRR006. I feel awful for them while simultaneously feeling grateful I"m not afflicted.

Bought Alan Wake's American Nightmare, holding it as a gift currently. I plan on playing it eventually, but it might make good trade fodder too, who knows.

Ah motion sickness, this scourge does not affect me. It does however affect two of my brothers. So much so that my oldest brother has taken Dramamine just to watch me play Call of Duty World at War. He had to leave the room before the before his lunch popped up for an unpleasant visit.

I fell sorry for people who go through this. Ya miss some damn fine games and boat rides must be hell.

I was going to play Sins: Trinity, but I decided to finally start up Just Cause 2 instead. That was a mistake. The game wouldn't even load, it just kept crashing. I verified the game cache and that didn't help, so I decided to reinstall. I deleted the local content, but then when I went to reinstall I got a message saying that Steam needed to "convert the game content to a new, more efficient format". Um...okay. I've never seen this message before.
I got this on Psychonauts a few days ago. Must be the new thing.

So, Demigod. Any good? Sounds like a MOBA.

Eh, it'll probably lose to Splinter Cell anyway.

How is SOL: Exodus? I love a good space shooter sim thingy, even if getting my Sidewinder to work on my current rig is a pain in the arse.

I regretted every cent I spent on Demigod, because I really didn't know what a MOBA was and bought into the hype.

Oh well. Live and learn.

I know it won't win, but if it does, I encourage people to take a chance on The Last Remnant. It's a surprisingly decent RPG with a unique squad-based battle system. The PC ver is the enhanced/expanded version, and the engine, while still flawed, is a lot better on PC than it was on 360.

Ymmv, of course - all teasing aside, a lot of people believe it to be trash.

None the less, considering it is really old, it's not worth more than $7.50, and in truth I'd say $5 or less, but Square-Enix will never sell a game that cheap.
