Also, looks like active accounts will get one 60-day trial key to give away tomorrow. The usual 14 and 21 day trial options are still around, but if you think you'll get good use out of 60 days then let me know. The trial keys can be used any time before January 24th.

The 60-day key is for new accounts only.

Honestly, with the way I play, I only saw all the uproar 'n stuff when I wandered over to the forum. I was having fun still, and now there's a whole bunch of new stuff to mess around with. No complaints here.

If I didn't have so many other games I would be tempted to subscribe to Eve. Flying around and doing missions was a lot of fun. I'm glad the game is still doing well and pushing out new content.

EVE is the only MMO I've paid for more than a month. I may reup with the update if my buddy's alliance is doing anything right now. I let my account lapse when I was spending 50+ hours a week at the new job and nothing was happening; things have calmed down so I may have to jump back in.

The changes to caps, supercaps and logoff timers were causing predictions of massive fighting out in 0.0 as people tried to take advantage of all the new changes. I keep forgetting to check the ship loss and sov maps to see if that's happening.

After a long break from EVE I wish I had the time to reup but it'd be a waste of money. I got annoyed and quit last time because the corp I worked for owed me close to 250 million ISK for ores mined and refined and they never paid up.

It doesn't help that I've heard PLEX prices have gone through the roof since I was mostly using ISK to pay for game time. Talked to my buddy last night and he said they were up to nearly a half billion ISK right now. Ouch.

If anyone is looking for a good in-game corp, I highly recommend the Reddit one if you spend any time on Reddit at all. They requirements to join are minimal (3 months with a Reddit account IIRC) and they are a lot of fun and have and you can do some pretty large-scale stuff if you want to.

The only issue is that you really need to not be easily offended, as a portion of the community tends to behave...well...like a portion of the Reddit community, heh.

Basically someone in California made a movie that showed Muhammad in a bad light and they attacked the embassy in Libya as a retort killing Vile Rat who was working there. Pretty fucking nuts.
