Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Loved.
Started it on the PC but got vertigo trying to play with the k/m. Finished it on 360.

Why didn't you just get a 360 controller? The game plays like a dream with it. I agree that trying to play with the KB/M is awful though.

Penny Arcade: On The Rainslick Precipice Of Darkness - Episode 3 - Finished! Bring on Episode 4!!!
Quite enjoyed this little gem. Wasn't terribly long but it scratched the 16-bit JRPG locus in my brain when I really needed it!

Finished penny arcade ep. 3, too. Neat game, neat mechanics. Preferred the first two, though, by quite a huge margin. Also, I never found out what happened to the old pl;ayer character.

I am not sure if I knew that was an option that was available. Most likely I never bothered to see if I could or not.

don't let's start

It's gotten to the point where 360 pad implementation is so common in PC games that I just leave one 360 controller plugged in and I pick it up by default when starting a new game.

Crysis : liked
Crysis Warhead: liked, but not as much. Dragons Dogma: Finished main game, and loved it so damn much.

Alpha Prime
- disliked What was a bummer about this one is that it could have been a good game. I liked the dark, unusual storyline and the environment was interesting. The gameplay was OK. It fell down in a number of areas, though. Acting and character animations were awful. Voices for some of the characters were so annoying I couldn't wait for the cutscenes to be over in some cases. The cutscenes themselves were too frequent and way too long. AI had pinpoint accuracy. Walk around a corner and blammo, instant hit. In open combat, you easily get smoked. Once you get the hang of using cover, it is still pretty bad. There is lots of health scattered through the levels, so it tries to make up for it that way. They threw in a driving level that was pretty weak and unnecessary. The steering was awful. Crashy game was crashy. Several times I crashed to desktop. Boring, uninspired, repeating enemies. Weapons that were not worth using. Flame thrower's range was so short that the enemies with them were the easiest to kill in the game. Also, no mention in game of the special abilities. Apparently, you can slow down time and I only learned about it when mucking about with the control options halfway through the game. So, yeah, not sure I'd recommend this one. Hmm... MAYBE for $1, but only if you really have no other game to play.

I bought that one on a steam sale a while ago. It was so bad I don't even want my money back, I just want to be able to delete it from my library.

Heh. Yeah, I have a couple titles like that in my library. It's like a mark of shame.

- liked brag: 100% achievements This was a bunch of fun, similar in feeling to portal, yet was still a different game. My only disappointment was that I was able to play through this in an afternoon -- I bought it at the Steam Flash Sale today.
