I just started playing this over the weekend, digging the shit out of it. My pawn, Aria, is one of those basic dagger arrow classes. She at least stays pretty active during battle.

Going to change her back to ranger tomorrow I think. Or make her a normal warrior. Having yours and JRRs also in the magic dep kinda makes her obsolete now. I try to mix it up with other random pawns, but heck, the unit with your 2 pawns in it just works best.

I ran into the same problem with too many mages, heh. I ended up with three (Seline, my pawn, Shayne) and my Magick Archer. We did an escort quest, it actually worked ... pretty well! Though I was sniping a lot of things before they even saw us. I kinda like the stealthier method.

I've been keeping my pawn a mage because Sorcerers can't heal. I've just about maxed out the fighter-y vocations for my character, though, so I'm ready to switch
him around, probably to a warrior. Would that be useful to you guys? (on PSN)

Won't have access to a PS3 for another day or so... gah, the shine was wearing off a tiny bit but the minute I can't play, it's all I want to do.

Keep your pawns the way that you need them to be. I'll use them regardless.

Same for me. If you would change it up to say a ranger my sorcerer Seline would be more viable. I'm not done with the main game so I will level up a vocation to fit anyway.

Only thing I really need is a healer. Without them the game get's too hard. But I can work around it with my own pawn.

Must say that after getting used to the bow and arrow I'm digging my assassin a lot more. Works better than most games featuring fps bow aim. I do think she's getting a sword instead of those daggers though.

No one except JRR has used Vitria lately. :/ Ever since I made her a Sorc, interest has waned.

I'm sitting outside the Dragon fight right now. I already saw the Duke's ending.

Amusingly, I decided to give my Arisen's Bond to Julien. I just found his particular brand of asshattery entertaining, so after I killed him to save Mercedes I revived him. It was him or Selene to be honest, and I didn't feel like running through the woods again.

Oh, and BEST ITEM EVER if you insist on not using a Mage - Magnaminous Cloak. It turns every healing item on your character into an affect-all item. The splash effect isn't quite as strong, but still, handy.

I didn't know you were on PS3 (or I missed it)

I'll use her, what's your PSN

That is really handy.

You can kill Julien? I tried to intervene in their duel and I couldn't hit him. Do I have to do something before it starts?

I ended up with Ser Maximillian as my romantic... whatever. (I gave that bitch a quill. Bitches love quills.) Both he and Selene were living in my house by the end of the game. Awkward.

And I try to use everyone's characters regularly! I haven't been able to play for a few days, but I intend to enlist her again next time I'm near a riftstone.

Menage, my psn is joeqpublic.

AS for killing Julien, all I did was drill him with a few arrow barrages and he died quick.

Somehow I missed getting an Arisen's Bond in my first game. Now that I have one, am I gonna keep boning Aelinore? Or should another lucky lady be the recipient of my Arisen's affections?

Slowly, but surely, I am working towards that Platinum.

So I'm tempted to give my Arisen's Bond to someone like Mercedes, but still bone Aelinore.

I'm nearly finished with the current set of side quests, then time to hit the next set of story missions. I need to hit up Iona for some carrots, though. Funds are getting low.

I took it out at 20, but I was a magick archer. Roll with some ice magick and maybe be an archer, to knock it from the skies.
