Added.
Hm, I can't beat the Boogeyman. He's got a death timer, so it requires dumping tons of DPS into him. I don't have much in the way of DPS skills, or gear. I can't beat him until I come back after building DPS powers. |

The Black House has a great ghost that can be seen as well as the Monster Hunters...jezuz I have played way too much of this. As for the game and how it differentiates itself. I think the decks are good as starters and since you outgrow them at blinding speed I don't think they hold you back or cookie cutter much since you won't be that deck for very long. The company already responded to a couple posts about game content addons and many of them look to be social. They also took some notes on a couple of the posted ideas from people on the forums. Obviously, as we all know, London is exploding and only going to get bigger and have more stuff to do. I hope New York gets a little fleshed out as it was disappointing as an area, but again that doesn't fit with London being the main spot to go that the company wants. I for one would love Cabal club houses where you could hang out and your respective groups would contact you for jobs(dungeons-random battles) like Sparten Ops sounds like it will be for Halo 4. I would love mini episodes out of your cabal and if you didn't have a cabel, just from your group itself.

I didn't expect the game to be so... Lovecraftian.
![]() Wonder what the other zones are like.

The major zones still old that overall motif. Some are a bit more in your face horror, or old movie style horror than the dread of HP.

![]() Oh, and for anyone who didn't know, you can buy sprint speed upgrades at your home base. Really cuts down on travel time.

Ok, fuck. I just ran the Inferno twice in a row, had my client crash during a boss battle on the 3rd run, wow. That is damn good dungeon design. Like in terms of requiring skillful play on the part of users and building on themes. It feels like it picks up where The Polaris left off in terms of player skill requirements.
I also realize I need to become a better healer still. |

Well, I give up, I can't find any threads anywhere else where anyone has issues with The Secret World just freezing on them, with the sound still going and Windows declares the program to no longer be responding.
So apparently I have unique fucking issues. and the fact that any quest involving Yetis suck. Seriously, fuck that whole area, fuck the mission where I have to scout things, but died, and have to start doing it over again. Fucking shitty. |

I just had a quest send me directly into an ARMY of enemies, way too many to handle solo. I tried picking a few off and running for a while to no avail, died a couple times... then noticed a ladder that allowed me to bypass them, as the quest intended. "Now frown and say, 'Doh'".

I know there may not be full threads about it but there have been posts and you can see it in the general chat 24/7. I know the devs are aware for sure as one of them mods stated the devs had informed him it was one of the major fixes they are working on.

I haven't had a crash in a bit.. odd.
Also loved Tier 12 of the main story, really good stuff. Skip the quest Open Season, it's anthama to everything that is good in Secret World, it has a 10 minute time limit for phase one, and a requirement to kill 13 zombies.. which isn't easy for a healer spec character.. Also not fun considering that almost every other quest has required WAY less in terms of kills. Well, aside from the shitty quest involving killing 9 Ak'ab and 6 Nightmares. Tedious quests suck. Luckily the majority have been pretty good, aside from Sasquatch missions, fuck those hairy assholes and their boring quests. |

Well I picked up the game, I felt I should pick it up as I went through the process of the Facebook Social Game and played for the top rewards. The faction jacket and pants are nice.

You know what those both of those free shirts don't look that great. I'm not a huge fan of a cash shop for items in a pay per month mmo either.

I picked this up now. Can't wait to get in. Should we maybe spawn a thread with character names and whatnot so we can all find each other?
