WTF with the Liem Neeson time machine. The dude looks younger than the first movie.

Power has been flakey due to the thunderstorms rolling through. Quantum Conundrum is half downloaded and I'll grab the rest when I get home from this meeting. Looking forward to it!

Did you know? Liam Neeson gains back one day of life for every man he kills, though in exchange he also earns an additional ten years in hell. The Devil himself, tired of waiting on his death, came to collect in 1922 while Liam was on a murder respite in the hills of Georgia. Charlie Daniels popularized their encounter in song. Some historians disagree with music critics who argue that leaving out the detail that Liam played the fiddle with his wang ultimately made for a better song.

Purps. Remember that many people put their pc's in wall racks now, or behind tv's. Hell we recently installed one in a cabinet using wireless USB for the mouse, keyboard and controller. Through a bluray in there and you don't have to have a player.

Just an FYI.
Behind the tv? I never thought of that. There is carpet on the floor though. Will that matter? I would use my tv as the monitor? That would be interesting.

I'll see if the case fits behind the tv stand.

If nothing else i'll give you a virtual tour of the house. Maybe you can figure out a way to attach it to the ceiling and I can game in my chair.

You know, I've been playing Just Cause 2 off and on, and I've gotta say: This is your model for the next non-WOW style MMO.

I mean think about it. You have this massive world, but you can go anywhere in it you want. There's enemies afoot, but you can fight any of them any time if you're skilled enough. Advancement in the form of upgrades just makes it easier to take on and survive bigger and bigger challenges.

Can you imagine a game like this, but with an even bigger map, and actual other people running around, causing chaos and such like?

It would be awesome. Like UO on steroids.

Whoa. You think you come up with a good celebrity penis gag, and then you find out someone made a whole website out of it. I'm not sure what emotion I should be feeling right now, but I can tell you that I'm certainly not feeling surprised.

Yes, it would, depending on the airflow your case uses. Some draw air in through a port at the bottom of the front.

Even if it doesn't, I'd get a board and put it on that, just to keep them out of the carpet dust.

I do that with mine. I placed it on a couple shelving plank ends I had.

Aye. Nestopia with an HQ filter.

Everything looks like it was DRAWN. No pixels anywhere!

I need to try to think of some of the best looking NES games and give them a spin with it. Probably Castlevania 3.

For my money, the best filter for NES games is a 19" CRT television manufactured no later than 1993.

So Quantum Conundrum is neat. I'm not THAT far in it, but I can see how some of the puzzles are going to get really fiendish, esp. with 4 dimensions to play with AND timing to take into concideration. Eep!

I find that the "NTSC" filter in ZSNES works really well for simulating an old TV. Most scanline filters tend to go overboard, though.

The ZSNES filter sucks.

The one in Nestopia is way better executed by far.

I just like playing on real TVs. If the screen doesn't bulge outward, then it ain't right for my Nintendo.
