Reading up, I'm still not sure how timing works but everything reads like it's straight up.

Not sure it'll work tomorrow. But maybe Crusader King Tuesdays?

From what I've read, the host can load up saved games. Seemed liked groups can come back to games they were playing. Also seems if your dynasty dies, like in sp, you're out.

I think it'd be pretty fun to pick a country and all play nobles in that one country. Keep the backstabbing and intrigue nice and personal. Plus we can collectively tell the king to fuck off if we choose.

I am the King of Scotland!!! Pretty intense war there. As I posted earlier I started as a Vassal, the Duke of Moray and finally have taken Scotland. While he was at war with Flanders, which was across the map, I finally took advantage and used an ambition plot to initiate it. I raised all levies, purchased a group of mercenaries and started taking each county one by one. It took a while, but I eventually succeeded. My money would get low at certain points, but as I took a castle/church/town, I would get a lump sum of money, so what started out as 400 troops eventually become 2,000. I just took everything and am about to start my reign as King! I'll let you guys know what happens.

Wow, that's impressive based on my experience waging war. I tried mercenaries once. They weren't too happy when I couldn't pay them any longer and wanted to be paid in land. My land.

Man, I love Farscape! Also I totally don't pay my debts and have been working and schooling instead of Crusader Kinging. Preferably with the GoT mod. I hope to do that on my weekend. (tomorrow)

I'm having a tough time keeping Scotland safe from invaders, and keeping everyone inside from revolting. I can't even imagine how it would be controlling a bigger empire.

It gets freakin' stressful constantly catering to everyone's freakin' needs. Everyone turns into a massive crybaby. Thankfully, money shuts most people up, for the rest prison does well enough, and for the really problematic trouble makers, a revocation of title.

So, starting at as owning the county of Moray in Scotland, and finally took over Scotland. Today I had numerous epic battles in the 3rd Crusade and am now the King of Jerusalem!! I think my game freaked out afterwards because now I own 52 Demesnes when my limit is 9. I'm going to have to put in a lot of work to fix this I think.

Yeah, after I took over Jerusalem, I made a lot of common men into barons, mayors and bishops. It was a good time for many! First thing you do is get your main bishop in there rooting out heretics, since if you don't convert them over to your religion you won't get money or levies out of them. Second thing is pray and hope that the caliph takes his sweet time in preparing for the Jihad.

In my opinion, the Crusade isn't really worth it, took all my resources away and I nearly lost my own Kingdom. Gave Jerusalem to my son after that.
