HOLY SHIT!
Project P-100 looks amazing. I've loved every Platinum release, and this looks fantastic. Watched the trailer three times. There's a hell of a lot going on there. A Pikmin-style action game on steroids? That's the biggest highlight from everything I've seen so far. The only other console title that has me remotely excited is Tomb Raider. They showed a good 5 minutes, but I wonder if they can maintain that intensity and richness for 12 to 15 hours. In other news, ZombiU is desperate for a name change. |

Only 4 titles say "Launch Window"... that list could shrink a -lot-.

The ones that say 'Holiday' are probably much closer to being complete, as they will have to be out before the end of the year. I suspect that WiiU will launch in November, prior to Black Friday, and most of those Holiday games will be on store shelves before Christmas.

Huh. The WiiU might be the system I choose for AC3, if they make the holiday target.
Also, this just occurred to me - AC3 being on the system is a good sign for their online stuff. The multiplayer is A Big Deal to Ubisoft. |

Good to see they are keeping with the open memory if those specs are true.
I was thinking of getting it for WiiU as well. |

I didn't love the show, but it could have been worse, I guess. Pikmin 3, of course, looks dope. I thought that the LEGO game looked surprisingly fun, and ZombiU looks better than I would have expected as well.
I really wanted to hear more about the online/DRM infrastructure of the Nintendo Network, but maybe they'll reveal more about that later. Also, I was really hoping for a new Zelda or Metroid reveal, but there's still another Nintendo media briefing on Wednesday night, so there's hope yet. I actually just put up a podcast on Nintendo World Report if anyone is interested in hearing me talk about my thoughts on this briefing. It's not a particularly kind reaction, but I think I'm the least harsh of the three of us on the show. |

I wouldn't hold out hope for Zelda, they just released a Zelda game last year.

But they haven't released an ORIGINAL Zelda game for a handheld since Spirit Tracks in 2009.

La crème de la crème

EXACTLY. What a horrible press conf. All rehashes and sequels. No date, price or hardware details, and worst of all, NO info on Nintendo Network and the rumored "Nintendo Points" achievement system.
Looking at the launch game list, I am interested in NOTHING. Sony had an amazing conference and "won" E3 this year, hands down.

It was actually a pretty good showing, at least to me. Pikman 3, NSMB2 looked really good, Tanks Tanks Tanks looked like it could be a lot of fun, ZombieU has a lot of potential, P-100 looks awesome, and NintendoWorld looks amazing if you actually play that style of game (I.E. group gaming). I still think that the Pad with off-screen play is actually a bit of a killer app in and of itself, as long as there is enough games that use it.
Truth be told I think the design looks extremely solid, a lot more solid than the first wave of Wii stuff.
