So I just stumbled across this. It's a new MMO in development by Above and Beyond Technologies, using HeroEngine, apparently just entering Alpha.
It's a sci fi setting, off Earth.
Three faction system with guilds being able to create their own factions (Sounds like a pain in the arse)
City building.

Players are not forced into combat. There are many non-combat related activities and ways to advance them independently of it. This includes an advanced crafting system which allows the creation of many advanced items.

Vehicle system featuring upgrades, vehicle to vehicle combat, and siege vehicles, in addition to the usual fast transport.

It sounds extremely ambitious, but I'm going to keep an eye on it.
