Darksiders II
Because fuck yeah. You can catch some review blurbs from a couple print houses, and it sounds like they succeeded in making Darksiders (1) bigger, better and more badass. The first was easily one of my fave games ever, so I'm quite looking forward to this--even more so because I've managed to stay far away from spoilers and story beats. Anyone else going to be playing this?
By the way, the tie in novel, Abomination Vault, ain't bad. Very melodramatic, but entertaining. |

Gamestop charged my card, my Collector's Edition should be shipping soon! I'm really excited for it. I got my book when it first came out but I've been too busy with a Summer class to dive in.

I need to order this! Although it's probably a later release in the UK, so I may have to go dark on any news about it, since I imagine it'll be completed by someone long before it releases here.

I was so far removed from news that I didn't even hear about New Game +, Arena mode or Nightmare mode till a day or two ago. Soooo excited. August 21 is UK release.

Although the story was what did it for me in the first. Not sure if I will ant a + game once I know how the story pans out.

I can't wait to play this game!! A big congrats to the Vigil team for working so hard to bring us another bad ass game!
I really hope this game does well for THQ... must be a lot of pressure to think the success of your game might dictate the success of such a large publisher. |

They've spent a lot of money marketing this game. I've seen 4-5 billboards for it around Los Angeles. I think they're banking on it.

It'sbound to do at least well. Only sleeping dogs is coming out though but the draught has been awful for non shooter gamers.
