Oh, This is as good of a place as any.

I have beaten every level of Super Meat Boy. I have all the Achievements, and have gotten an A+ on every level, counting the new downloadables. The stupid bugs are keeping my count at 302 levels finished, though.

What I'm saying is that I am a Golden God of platformers and the rest of you can suck it because you will never be as good as me.

Yeah... you did.

And, uh, probably still do on a lot of them. But the number has indeed diminished! I have a really sucky glitch that prevents me from using ESC unless I've rescued Bandage Girl at least once since the last time I selected a level from the map.

Gamepad is essential, eh? Well, I'm making keyboard work so far. I can definitely see why a controller would be nice, though, but that's 40 more dollars than I'm willing to spend right now. If I got Shank to play smoothly, I can handle Super Meat Boy!

Unfortunately, my amazing performances for the ages are all on the 360 version of the game. The hardest levels are Four Letter Word, Bragging Rights, the REAL Final Boss, and the warp zone called "Skyscraper".

And yes, I am obviously a better person than all of you. Try to beat my 1.15 second level 1-1 score!

By the way, I would advise that you stop playing the game before trying to tackle Brownie in the Salt Factory boss level. The file for Brownie didn't get uploaded, so you can still play the level, but Brownie won't be in it! I didn't realize there was something missing until today, well after I played it, when I read about the issue on the blog. Patch coming any hour now!

OK, I'm going to have to issue an apology. Any morale-demolishing high scores that I achieved before right now with Josef are with pre-patch Josef. That includes my 1.05 I mentioned just 20 minutes ago.

To those of you who never got to experience pre-patch Josef: you sorry bastards. I weep for you. He wasn't exactly overpowered, just, uh, hilariously specialized. Fell like a rock, his armcopters barely even served as an airbreak, his jump was generally too powerful to climb walls unless he had two to jump between, if you tried to stop running he'd skid a dozen bodylengths or more. . . but he was fast. Really fast. And under specific circumstances he got a double-jump. An extremely tricky character, and a ton of fun. I can only hope that the not-broken Josef can live up to remotely comparable standards of awesome.

Beware when the video was taken. Like I said, Josef now works completely differently post-patch - I honestly don't know if I could repeat my record.

late edit: the PC-exclusives are going to continue to be patched. That update should come out tonight according to Team Meat.

This is the worst sort of game to have a progress-destroying crash in.
