Super Street Fighter IV Gameplay Footage

Capcom has given the world a peek at some of the new features Super Street Fighter IV (SSF4). The screenshots above highlight the new fighting game modes and the return of the barrel and car bonus stages. The videos below feature T. Hawk, Dee Jay and SSF4's new Tae Kwon Do fighter, Juri duking it out. The gameplay seems to have gotten a slight speed boost over its predecessor, but it doesn't exhibit characters who exist in both titles so it's difficult to compare.

Highlighted new features in SSF4 include the already announced Team Battle mode, Endless mode (Quarter-mode), Replay channel, and Tournament mode (available as DLC)

More interestingly, two notable "Features" highlighted in the article are

All playable SFIV characters will be unlocked out of the box.
Gameplay has been rebalanced to provide challenges for both newcomers as well as the most seasoned Street Fighter pro.

I'm hoping that means Seth won't put me into the "Endless-Pretzel-Combo" before I hit a button. But with everyone unlocked from the start, the difficulty of story mode may not apply.

Notice it says all playable SSF4 characters are unlocked out of the box. You may have to go through a hoop or two for Dee Jay and T. Hawk.

I wonder if this version will remove the HORRIBLE title screen music of Street Fighter 4. If I hear that whiney singer again I will be sick. I should have just held off and bought this version, I should have known the Capcom Street Fighter franchise milking machine would not rest for long.

Somewhere or another I had read that the tweaks involved making Seth worse.

Ah ja, thank you Herr Google.

I can't really imagine how Seth could be worse...other than perhaps he'll break my controller for me.
