Halo 4 Console Bundle Leaked. New Live Action Trailer.
343 Industries' first outing in Bungie's hugely popular Halo series is still many months away, with a November release date, but the hype machine trundles on. Above is the latest live action trailer, Forward Unto Dawn, for the Halo 4 live-action digital series. Quote:
A pre-order listing for the custom console was discovered on the store by IGN before being subsequently pulled from public viewing. According to the info, the 320 GB console will have a specially designed case and play custom sounds when the power or eject buttons are pressed. It also will include two custom controllers, a headset, and a copy of Halo 4. The bundle was listed at $399.99 (£257.99, €326.83). No release date was mentioned, but it’s likely to arrive around the same time as the Halo 4 launch in November. Source: IGN |
Well, that was the best Live_Action trailer for a game I ever saw.
I'm looking forward to this game even if I didn't like Halo before it. |
Just make the damned live-action movie already. Trim the budget, get a studio on board and get it done.
|
Hell MS could afford to make the movie themselves.

The console bundle, for those who don't want to follow the link:

Damn that thing looks sweet, shame I'm not in the market for a new 360.
|
Yeah that thing looks badass.
EDIT: I dont understand what would keep them from making a Halo movie or series of movies. Money is there, popularity is there and it would have to be better than something like the Prince of Persia movie. Get a good director and writer on board and you'd be set. |
That does look pretty rad!

...Spartan Hogwarts. really?

I don't think Microsoft should make the movie, as that trailer was uhh..
Totally garbage and looked to be the most cliche war/sci-fi/school movie in existence. |
I don't know why, but that trailer gave me hope that someday someone could make a decent Ender's Game movie.
I'm excited. |

I can say this. Their choice to use no special effects for the chief(the actor who plays him was Colossus in Xmen) was a good one. He is massive and people who know him say he is wicked fast and incredibly dexterous for his size). MS may be massive but partnerships need to be created actual studios because they want an actual full movie after this. Assuming Halo 4 releases well, and assuming the movie looks as good as it does here, there will most likely be some studios interested. |
Forget about the movie, this series looks awesome. What a great trailer... and they somehow managed three whole minutes without a using a dubstep score. I'm impressed!

Casting looks serviceable, if not a little on the too old side. Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley? Nice pickups. |
MS also wanted all rights to like backend stuff too so studios couldn't get any like movie action figure or shirt money.
Basically MS wanted to make a movie but not make it themselves. They should just make the damn thing already. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2 |
They shot a whole live action web series. A good friend of mine is one of the UNSC marines in it (in this trailer even). I'll see if you guys can guess which one!

Don't let all that tax-free dough burn a hole in your pockets jpc...

Honestly though? Yes, it looks great and all, but $399 for a console at the very end of its life? I dunno, that seems like a hard sell to me. |
