It's fucking awesome and the app is better than the Netflix one. Rock on.

I think many of the Netflix Apps I've used have sucked.

My Blu-ray player's is the worst. But then again, so is the Amazon one. This is a very SLICK looking player. Definitely the best streaming app I've used I think.

Forgive my ignorance, I was not familiar with this. I do not use that service and wasn't aware there was a precedent for this.

It's quite alright. I'm happy to see the service show up as it is making the PS3 a very rounded-out device. :) BTW, Vudu is good for finding older movies in VOD format.

More importantly, it now makes my roku completely useless.

And Ink, you absolutely can use this without being a Prime Member. You still link your system to your Amazon account, and then all of your purchased content should show up there.

If they did this, and made an Android app, we'd probably drop Netflix and stick with Prime.

Amazon Prime is an evil thing. It's $40/year for a student (although I'm currently on the free student version, which has the shipping benefits but not the video stuff), and I've found myself using Amazon for a lot more shopping than I ever did before Prime. In fact I only ordered a few things on Amazon until I signed up for Prime back in January or so, and now I get most of my toiletries there as well as some books for school and other misc. items.

I have Prime and I shop Amazon as my main store. Free two day shipping and no tax can't be beat. I've had it for about 6 years now I think or longer. I got a huge and heavy projector mailed next day for $4.

You should mail it to me. I'd love to have one. ;)

Great! Thanks.

Well not totally. I bet that Roku uses a metric shit ton less power than your PS3 does.

It will be nice to finally have a remote friendly Amazon Interface. I wish I could get something remote control friendly on my HTPC.

The Roku also doesn't have a 15 min update process every 10 days.

Yeah, I want to see this on the 360 too. I'm a prime member. :)

It would be nice if they had one entry per show then drill down for the seasons. Flipping through pages of essentially a couple of show is dumb.

The service is decent and I've actually found shows with more episodes on Prime than Netflix (like Mythbusters, where Netflix seems to have random "collections" of episodes and Prime just has the seasons).
