I have been simultaneously posting to both my blog here and the thread here. I did this originally because I didn't know which venue would be more popular for encouraging conversation. Since it seems like the thread is more popular, I'm going to discontinue posting on the blog, unless there is anyone that objects.

Some games are much harder to look at in one day, especially if you don't have a lot of time to devote to them. IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is one such game.
It is a flight simulator, with older, WW2 aircraft from a variety of nations. It looks pretty complete, and I think it could be a lot of fun, but there is a lot to learn about. I watched the first tutorial and was disappointed that there were a bunch left to look at, including taking off and landing.
I'll need much...

Fallout is one of those games that I somehow missed when it originally came out. I didn't purposefully avoid it, but at the point it was released, I really didn't have "my finger on the pulse of gaming" like I do now, so I just didn't know anything about it. Well, one of my friends told me some stuff, and it always sounded fun. Don't know why I didn't pick it up back then.
Two Christmases ago, I was given Fallout 3 as a present. I loved this game and played tons of hours...

A little detour from what was planned. Instead of Larva Mortis and the Dig, I decided to try out the games that I bought at the midweek sale this week. Since I took a look at all of them, I'm just going to smush them all into this post and call them "Game 21."
Not all of the games were of the same "fun" level. Some were winners. I am not going to start with those, instead, building up them by slogging through the less interesting ones.

In Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, you take the role of a hero who bravely fights zombies by bowling at them. It is an amusing concept.
In this game, you are bowling against an opponent. In single player, it is progressively more difficult AIs, but I think the true fun would be against another person.
What makes this different from a traditional bowling game (aside from the pins being zombies) is that you can control the ball after you release it. You also can pick up goodies...
