The story of my ascension into management is an odd one. I never filled out an application, never had an interview, and when the manager's position opened up, I said "Hey, can I do it?" There are a few reasons why it would appear that I rose up the ranks so quickly. First off, our locations normally only employ no more than five at a time. I though for a while what I was gonna do with my blog. After some deliberation, I figured that few people would have something along these lines. Most days it'll probably be customer encounters, or how I deal with comparisons to Gamestop and Vintage Stock which happen to be across the street from us.
