So this past weekend I decided to go on a bit of an adventure. I had an old iphone 2G laying around and decided I'd see if I could install the android OS on it.
I started off using the guide over at idroidproject.org ([Link]) using the Ubuntu 32bit Virtual OS. However I did make a quite a few changes along the way for the final product.
After downloading the prebuilt images / binaries, I followed the instructions here to edit the system.img file in preparation...

Welcome to week 2 of my 365 photo a day project.
This was my first full week, and thankfully I was able to keep my momentum going and get some decent pictures.
Monday's picture was a macro of a delicious Christmas treat, Almond Roca.
Tuesday's picture was a sunset taken over Etolin Island, up in Wrangell, Alaska.
Wednesday's picture was a photo of a framed map of South East Alaska.

A Day late, but Yesterday marked the end of the first week on my 365 photo a day project. The plan is to upload a photo for each day of the year. I might not upload them daily, but rather do put them up every few days when things start to get busy.
This first week is a bit short (as it started on the 1st which was a friday), however here are the shots for the week:
The first shot is of an Old, wood burning furnace that we have in the downstairs apartment (Click here to see it).It...

How many times have you found yourself spammed with game invites on xbox live when you just want to sit back and watch a movie?
Or have you felt the urge to play a game, but couldn't find anyone else playing that game?
I've always wondered why Steam & Xbox live don't let you add a "Looking to play" status.
I know that on steam it would be really helpful in finding others who are around there computer and would like to play left 4 dead, but...

So a few months ago, a buddy had his 360 red ring on him permanently. Unfortunately it was a launch 360 and so it was no longer under the extended warranty.
Well last night we decided to go ahead and poke around inside it and see if we couldn't repair it ourselves (after seeing some videos / tutorials online).
We started by taking the 360 apart, which is by far the most difficult part of the project (or at least to us it was). We took it slow, not wanting to break anything....
