Maybe so, but you still ought to know better. You've been on CoG long enough to know what flies and what doesn't in that forum. It appears the mods agree. Again, I ask you: how did you expect the thread to develop when you started with calling txshurricane out and linking him to racism? If you can't answer that, I suppose you understand my point.

You inferred txshurricane was a racist, calling him out on the first line of the post. No matter whether you think he is or is not, you know the rules in the P&R Forum. No personal attacks. Especially as the OP...what were you thinking writing that? Do you expect the thread to progress in a positive manner that way?

I had a bunch of other stuff done at the same time, so it was part of a bigger bill. It was about $1100-1200 in parts for the valve job, and a lot of labor- not sure if they broke out the labor cost from the other stuff. I'll have a look at the invoice when I have a chance and see if there's a number for just that part of the labor.

(The high labor costs sucked, but, as I'm sure you know, the engine is a cast-iron bastard to work on. Especially with a job like this that basically requires dismantling the entire engine compartment.)

The work was done by the dealer, so it was definitely costing more than an indie shop, but a) it was already at the dealer, b) I was in Detroit at the time, and c) I don't have any local shops that I particularly trust at the moment.

I don't think you need to assume that a big job like that is in your immediate future, unless you've experienced misfires or you feel like the engine is losing power.

Since you're the biggest PS3 fan I know, are your triggers acting up? Particularly R2? The spring in mine has seemed to go out. I replaced it with one from my old SIXAXIS and it's stiff, but at least it works now. Unfortunately the SIXAXIS is completely useless as I lost some pieces to it in the disassembly x_x Should I see about getting it repaired somewhere?

Firstly what people need to realize is the importance of a top 10 list. They are not made to piss people off. They are made because they define the very essence of greatness. Every game in the list is great. They are the complete package of video game development, whether strictly single player based, multiplayer based or a mix of both, when gamers play these games, they are 110% satisfied, which means the game went above and beyond all expectations. Every game on this list has done this. ...
