So those of you in the know, now I'm getting a divorce. Well, it's more of a separation, due to Alberta laws stating two people have to be separated first for a period of one year (!) before they can file for divorce.

I want to fix things, but I've decided I'm done now that I've signed my new lease and placed the security deposit. Now I'm just gonna move forward and not wait around for whatever might happen, if anything.

Hope can be a pretty damning thing, honestly....

Oh lordie...When I get an idea, I guess I run with it.

Since I'm a stay at home dad and all now, I've taken to picking up a lot of the slack around the house, cooking, taking care of my son Isaac and cleaning so my wife Wendy can get a much more decent rest after working night's.

Anyway, I've always liked cooking. If I have the ingredients and a recipe to follow, then I can create pretty much anything. But my faves are the ones where I can mix and match diff things...

So I was thinking the other day: Why aren't I more motivated to do something creative? Lord knows I've got enough ideas floating around this head of mine, so why is it so damn hard to actually push myself to putting them down and hashing things out?

I think a lot of it has to do with not wanting to fall on my face, and another part does with the irrational notion no one cares. While more than likely true, it's not something I should let get in my way.
