Watching Escape from New York last night on TV I came to the realization that it would make a perfect mod/total conversion for Left 4 Dead.

Almost all the elements are there. Instead of Bill, Zoey, Louis and Francis you'd play as Snake, Cabbie, Brain and Maggie. Each campaign would require you to free the President, and escape somehow. Maybe over the bridge, maybe to a glider, maybe to a boat.

SO the BWAA announced today the newest members of the Baseball hall of fame: Ricky Henderson and Jim Rice. This past Saturday, a buddy and I ended up watching a whole day's worth of Sci-Fi's craptastic movies in between some college football, and it turned into an epic experience.
