I wanted to repost this from one of the threads. I can't remember the last time I was this into a game so early on, with the possible exception of Dead Space.
I spent a few hours (real hours) wandering around Bowerstone, working and earning a ton of cash. I then bought two business, some nice clothes, and a new hair cut and dye job. Everyone loves the new look, and the cat calls and comments from passersby are great! There's so much to see and do in this game, and I've only...

I succumbed to the hype and picked up Dead Space this past Friday night.
I'm not going to go too in depth at this time, but so far I am really enjoying it. The mechanics are very tight, the graphics are excellent, and exploring the ship is a lot of fun. Sure the monster designs are somewhat cheesy, but I don't find that they distract from the game at all.
I don't really have any complaints about the game so far. I'm always hesitant to drop $60 on a game, but I don't...

I've been in Nebraska for a few days now.
So far I've faced the usual barrage of questions:
"Why are you so skinny; don't you eat anymore?"
"When are you going to find a nice girl and settle down?"
"Do you really think a black man should be president?"
etc.
While I've enjoyed seeing and catching up with family, I can't wait to get back to the city!

I'm going to Nebraska this weekend to visit family. I lived there for 21 years before successfully escaping to civilization nearly three years ago.
I've been dreading the trip for various reasons (mostly family drama), but now I'm looking forward to seeing my parents (divorced) and my younger sister.
I can't wait for the barrage of questions about my "lifestyle", my lack of a girlfriend, my skinny build, etc. Oh joy.
