I was recently watching a small run of the TV show Parking Wars. Anyone else ever watch this show? I find it to be a great example of humanity.

I am at once annoyed at how stupid and idiotic some people are and loving how much joy their actions give me. I mean come on, you parked in a bus zone and you think it is okay to do so? And of course the parking authority people stalk YOUR every move. As soon as you walk away and are gone for TWO seconds then pounce! Nevermind that it...

Machine came into the shop not working correctly. The issue? Both optical drives no longer work. Upon inspection both were no longer in My Computer, but were in Drive Manager with a yellow symbol over them, which came to be Error 39. Doing a restart and popping in UBCD, showed me that both drives still worked, so it must be a Windows related error.

Look up error 39, do the suggest reg hacks, nothing. Do some more research..other hacks, some utilities, nothing. See that it might...

Watched the Sanctuary two hour premiere last Friday night. It was actually better then expected. As with most shows I am sure it will get better or at least find its footing several episodes in. Over the course of several breaks the timing was about the same:

Six minutes of tv, followed by 3 minutes of commercials.

Opened up a local newspaper a few days ago to see an article on Yoga being taught in school. I think to myself, "Great idea. Relaxation before tests would help so many." I then go on to read, then parents and community members are against it. Why you might ask?:

Quote:
A few vocal parents raised concerns about the separation of church and state at a meeting the previous week, saying that the district could not expose their children to Hindu rituals.

Worked on a machine at the office. Went well. Some spyware, but no real hiccups. Even did some updates. Connected to the internet fine. I bring the machine back and it seems as if nothing I did worked. The machine is back to the way it was. I went through several potential fixes, suggested by the fine folk of Cog. Sadly none of them worked. Internet was working while in safe mode, so doing a quick search, it was suggest to review services running. I turned off IPSEC as was suggested, it...
