See my point is that the free for all market is only successful if consumers find the quality acceptable though. Otherwise, they will still choose the higher priced goods.

That's rarely the case however, which is why you usually only see unfettered competition in commodity markets, where quality is largely irrelevant. With most other goods, quality is important and consumer desire for quality keeps firms in business, not price fixing. Also keep in mind that the point of efficient markets is not to keep firms in business, but to facilitate the efficient production and distribution of goods. It is not societies concern to keep firm A or B in business is they are not producing a desired product at a competitive price.

#2 Saints Row 2

I really liked Saints Row. I picked it up as something to play while waiting for the next GTA. It was fun game which provided lots of customization options.

It was a no brainer when they announced SR2. Of course there real problem was competing with the "behemoth" GTA IV. THQ came up with the most ingenious marketing campaign: going over the top. The newer activities really had me sold. But then I played the game.

The first thing...

Hello everyone!

This user blog thing is nice and sure to clean up useless opinion post from the lounger forum. I am mostly going to post about games or geek stuff that is too popular, but which I don't get. No I don't consider these things overrated. Its stuff that I disagree on with every body else. Here goes nothing.
