I know I see them. But I'm a friend. I'm figuring everyone that complaining in the MK vs DC thread about not seeing pics because they are aren't friends. Your albums are set to private.

Actually Xerx, you've seen every one of my pics. My albums are just all of the images I use on the frontpage.

Finger, you need to make your Albums public. No one can see your pictures.

A few weeks ago - while posting a plethora of news stories about high profile titles being pushed back to 2010 - I said that this happens every year at around this time. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that this year's Exodus is something unusual

Like I said, every year games slip from the crowded holiday season into early the next year. In some cases it really is because the game needs more time and effort, but in general it's because someone realized that the...

Watching Escape from New York last night on TV I came to the realization that it would make a perfect mod/total conversion for Left 4 Dead.

Almost all the elements are there. Instead of Bill, Zoey, Louis and Francis you'd play as Snake, Cabbie, Brain and Maggie. Each campaign would require you to free the President, and escape somehow. Maybe over the bridge, maybe to a glider, maybe to a boat.

I'm not quite sure how to handle the special infected, but that can...

Notice anything different lately when you walk into your local game store? In what has to be the shock of all shocks, we're in the end of February and there are actual new games, good games, on the shelves. Be still my beating heart, but it looks like publishers have finally learned that you can release games outside of November and December.

While this news may come as a shock to some outfits (EA, I'm looking at you) other companies have known this for years. Nintendo regularly...

SO the BWAA announced today the newest members of the Baseball hall of fame: Ricky Henderson and Jim Rice. I have no feelings one way or another towards Rice - he was before my time, but a lot of analysts I trust call him the "most feared hitter in the AL in the late 70s/early 80s - but Ricky is probably my all time favorite player, and something about his election bugs me. He received 94.8% of the vote, appearing on 511 of 539 ballots. Easily winning entry. But here's my beef: who the...

Is it really possible to be both unbelievably bad and totally awesome? The Sci-Fi channel's lineup of original movies says: yes!

This past Saturday, a buddy and I ended up watching a whole day's worth of Sci-Fi's craptastic movies in between some college football, and it turned into an epic experience.

First off it was a 'theme' day. Ice monsters, with a particular emphasis on the Yeti genus. Get a load of this lineup:

Savage Planet
Sasquatch Mountain...
