Movie theater occurances

Seeing Tranformers 2 today in IMAX at the midnight showing, there was high school drama BS going on in the theater.

My friend and I were in our seats, just fine. Group of 4 on one side, empty seat, us, group of five, aisle. There had been this one girl next to me, but she had gotten up a few minutes beforehand.
The row in front of us was mostly high school students clustered in the middle. Well, apparently two people that hadn't initially been in on the ticket buying bought...

Geoff John's Comic Book Shop Owner Debut

For superhero/punching comics, I spent the day at a comic shop opening and met Geoff Johns, James Robinson, Zeb Wells, Sterling Gates, Mark Waid, Philip Tan and Jeph Leob. Pictures from today are here. Got signed books from all of them, but I missed Brian K. Vaughn, Tim Sale and Marv Wolfman. Comic Book Resources live blogged the event, pictures are here, and there was even a video crew.

Games I've Started (Or Will) Replaying Because They're Awesome

...or stuff from the games keep coming up in my classes.

My Art History class had a session on Muslim art and architecture. One of the examples of architecture shown was the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. This, combined with the previous session showing late Romanesque/early Gothic architecture and flying buttresses on medieval churches, made me want to replay Assassin's Creed for the parkour and stabbing people in awesome ways.
