I filled out more space in my second "loop," with a good deal of commercial and a little industrial. Decided to expand a new residential center to the east, within reasonable distance of my big commercial center and the industrial zones to the north. Got an elevated rail line started.

Placed my major league stadium. Added a recycling center and another coal plant. Got access...

Melbrook started as a new city in an existing region. I started this weekend and got to about 80,000 population, then brought it to over 100,000 last night.

I started out in the southwest corner and started building a ring of industrial zones with commercial and residential in the middle. Almost everything within 5x5 blocks. Mostly medium-density residential with pockets of high density and some low-density toward the outer ring. Some low-density commercial between the residential...

Not much of a 'haul,' but I did pick up Bioshock (PC) and Assassin's Creed (PC) for $9.99 each at Best Buy.

Conversely, Star Ocean: First Departure (PSP) was priced at $49.88 at Walmart. Hoping that was a pricing mistake.

Stores were busy, but I was there in the afternoon/evening, and avoided the early morning insanity. I wasn't even really planning on going, but it happened to work out.

*Edit* Also picked up Ratchet & Clank Future (PS3)...
