Oh Life

It's scary that this blog has an older last post than my personal blog. I thought I updated this one more often.

So, funny how having a kid and getting married can throw a wrench in free time, focus, and productivity. I still haven't finished Phantasy Star, though I finished a few other games on the PC, detailed during my time with the Immortal Machines podcast.

My Steam backlog has gotten bigger with all the sales as well. I still feel guilty playing multiplayer...

Easy Mode

I've logged a couple more sessions in Bioshock since my last entry and they certainly don't waste any time throwing Big Daddys at you, do they?

This highlighted one of my decisions when I started the game. Even though I've read, in threads on the game, how easy it is I still chose to play through the game on Easy. So far it hasn't diminished my enjoyment of the game. Sure it's been a breeze to take down the walking tanks and I'm never in need of medkits or EVE hypos. I suppose...

I waffled for a bit but eventually settled on Bioshock as the next Everest to conquer. That and I hear it's reasonably short compared to some of the SRPG's I've got on my list. Some of them come packaged with legal documentation to notify next of kin when you go missing for months at a time.

I played the demo for Bioshock when it was first released on my PC (it chugged on my laptop) and later on my 360. (much better performance as you would expect) I didn't end up purchasing the...
