The 2010 watch list
Retiring my previous blog post, starting a new one for the games I'm watching in 2010 (and beyond).
This time, I'm going to try something different. Game titles will be listed in different font sizes, based on my general interest in each game. Larger font = more interested. Games in red I have pre-ordered or purchased.

Added Red Dead Redemption to the list, after hearing discussion about it on IGC, watching a few trailers.

Added Bayonetta (already out) and BlazBlue Portable (March) to the list. Plan to pick up Bayonetta when I can find it for $30 or less. Had fun with the demo. BlazBlue PSP is pretty low priority, since I have the console version already, but something to keep an eye on.

Preordered Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon this weekend, at Gamestop for the soundtrack preorder bonus.
Wondering when Square-Enix is going to get around to announcing FFXIII preorder bonuses and/or special editions. |

Updated a few dates. Alan Wake is May, Arc Rise Fantasia looks to be June, while Gran Turismo 5 is bumped back to a potential Q4 release.
Also moved the /PC from Alan Wake. |

Added Civilization V for Fall 2010. Definite purchase. Even though I'm not that good at Civ, I still love it. I've gotten more miles out of Civ IV than pretty much any other game.

Picked up Mass Effect 2 (360) at Walmart last Saturday, and just put in a preorder for FFXIII (PS3) today. Preordered from Amazon, since I'm doing the free Prime trial, and get free release date delivery. Thought about preordering from Gamestop, just to see if they had any extra FFXIII 360 faceplates lying around, but it releases on a Tuesday, and Gamestop is quite a drive, and I don't want to take time off work just for that. Much easier just to let Amazon have it waiting for me when I get home from work, on the day it's released.
