Games I've beaten so far this year. Part 2

Just added another game to my list of completions over the year.
This time it was Alone in the Dark: Inferno (PS3).
I remember when the original version of this came out for 360 and Wii there were a lot of complaints, specifically issues with the camera and the driving controls. Shortly after it's release it was announced that there would be a PS3 version with a number of corrections to the issues that people were having. When I was going to Gamestop to try to find one of the mysterious SFIV Fightpads I noticed that they had new copies of Alone in the Dark dropped down to 30 bucks for a new copy. Half price seemed just about right for this comparison so I picked it up.
I went into the game I wasn’t sure what to expect. I remember that when this version was released it was regarded fairly well in reviews, but I still kept my enthusiasm guarded, and as a result I was quite pleasantly surprised by what I found.
The 3rd person camera was… ok, I spent most of my time in 1st person, which worked really well (and allowed for me to use the somewhat frivolous blinking mechanic).
Inventory management wasn’t too difficult, but I would have enjoyed a couple more slots.
The story was a fun ride, and overall the game was quite a bit of fun. I would certainly recommend at least giving this game a rental, or even a buy if you can get it at a decent price.
