So, nothing really gets to you more than blunt-force trauma. That's what I got today at the doctor. I had decided to go in as the last three days I've felt like I've had a knife in my shoulder. When I got there, he examined my back and said: "That's it? Nothing hard to figure out?" It had turned out that it was nothing more than a severely strained muscle in my back. He explained it well: "Let's be frank. You're overweight, severely overweight for your height, and it's causing you posture issues - you need to change or just keep expecting this to happen."
Needless to say, that struck me pretty hard. He's right, something does have to change, or I'll end up like my dad, gone at age 45 due to a heart attack, or like a friend who had his first heart attack at 25. It's not worth it to me - and thus, it has to change and I WILL change. I have to.

It's hard, man. I've been doing pretty well due to getting married and therefore having my eating habits totally changed.
