after being repeatedly harassed by some members of this forum I've decided to go back to lurking which is what I had been doing for years over at Evil Avatar.
I don't think I've ever been so poorly treated before. I guess the only consolation is that the people harassing me are some of the largest trolls I've ever observed here so I shouldn't take it too personally.
Regardless...this is not the way I expected to be treated.
Johan you are a truly despicable person...the way in which you argue is unlike anything I've ever seen before. You're just a mean, argumentative troll who displayed nothing but vehemence towards me and ill will all because I disagreed with you. I can recall your many self bannings and temper tantrum induced departures from both Evil Avatar and COG in the past. I feel sorry for you in many ways...pity is more like it.
It was short and brief and certainly memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Seriously man, don't feel you have to leave. I know it might seem like you're the only one having problems with another poster but it's usually not the case. I did have a run in with Disgustipated back in the EvAv days, but not on CoG. As for Johan, I've had him on ignore for a long time now. Reading his circular arguments and attacks does nothing for my irritation level. He openly admitted in the EvAv days that he considered EvAv as nothing more than an outlet for his own vitriol. Not a bad idea in itself, and far better than doing it in real life, but doesn't mean I have to be party to it.
So please come back, even if after a short break. |

Btw, I just read a few of the posts in your final thread. Johan certainly hasn't changed a bit since his bad old EvAv days. I'd suggest slap an ignore on the users pestering you and hopefully get back to enjoying discussions
The name Schnoogs (or whatever) rings a bell but I don't remember. Regardless of that, it's no reason for you to be harassed. If you had overstepped a forum guideline or rule then you should be warned or banned. If that isn't the case then other users should just get off your case and that includes site founders. |

Sorry to hear. The consolation that the two main aggressors are notorious trolls anyways, but it still doesn't excuse them. Reporting posts is still the most effective solution. "Running away" by reverting back to trolling lets them know that they got to you and stokes their ego. Keep posting your opinions and converse with other people without arguing makes them look even worse.
