For those that are interested, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online has now gone into Open Beta. This MMO is 100% free to download and play. The company uses the Korean free play business model. The entire game and updates are 100% free, but they charge you for customized clothing/items. It has been immensely popular in Japan and was released there last year I believe. Now they are releasing the Europe and USA open betas. Hopefully, they catch. I love Megaten.

The installer is about 1.25 gigs so it will take a bit. From what I'm told almost any PC can run it, the graphics aren't a state-of-the-art system chugger. I've heard them favorably compared graphically to the PS2 at it's peak.
I am in the middle of downloading it myself. I love the Megaten Universe and I'm even more happy to be able to play it for free.
