An Enraging Tragedy...
I came back to my apartment today to find out that I had been robbed over break.
They took my 360 and PS2 and an assortment of 360 games and PS2 games and some DVDs. I guess thankfully nothing else was taken. I still have a TV and everything else. I'm just pissed that they took my systems! I had a really nice haul this Christmas and had just purchased Left 4 Dead, intent on gaming with my friends.
You can help me though. If you see me "Shodan2020" log on to LIVE... IT'S NOT ME. It's either the crooks or someone who they pawned my system to. So anything I may say or do, it's not really me. If I get another 360 I'll be sure to let you all know, I might even have to make another handle.. but that's later.
God, I feel awful and pissed and goddamnit this sucks!
Things being as they are, I'm going to have to post-pone my "Oldies but Goodies" article/feature for quite a bit. I'm just not in the mood to write anything ATM.

That sucks my dear friend who can stand to listen to me on XBL. Is there any way to track the system down now that it's been stolen?

If the thief does log on under Shodan's name, we will see it and there is a chance that he could try to supeona MS for the IP. I know they are pissy about it but have cooperated with police in the past. Also, if he has his console # he could try calling around to local pawn shops and see if it ended up in one.

Pawn shops didn't do any good, by the time I realized my 360 was gone it had already been fenced and someone was on in my name. I had to cancel my live account and recover my gamertag on to a friend's 360.
MS said they could only track the person if they called in for repairs on a 360 with my serial number. |

That sucks man. I'll keep sending you red ring wishes and hope he gets caught.
On a side note, do you think it was someone local. I saw an article a few weeks back about a kid who found his box by using a controller he had that was synced to his box. Of course he was in a dorm, so it made it easier for him and idk if they left anything that could sync up to the 360. |
