And some more lovely ladies...

Here's a couple of girls.

This one is from my brain. I kinda like the gothy/porcelain doll look on her face.

This one is real- she's Sati, our oldest cat, sitting on the coffee table.

Thanks man! And I haven't said it yet, but I really appreciate the banner art up there.
If you haven't already made one, I just sketched some ideas for an In Game Chat logo that I might want to collaborate on with you. It can be simplified to line-art for business cards and just might tell the whole IGC concept in a simple picture. |

I've been working with them on a text logo, but we haven't gone too far. I'd like to see what your ideas are.

Cool, I didn't want to step on toes. And i suck with text logos. I'll take a photo of my sketch and show you what I was thinking.

Don't you play the guitar as well Bone? I'm completely jealous of you multi-art types. I'm tethered to just the visual side of things.

I do play guitar too. Sometimes it's hard to balance so many freakin' hobbies. But if you understand the need to draw then you would totally understand the compulsion to make music. It's like a sneeze that has to happen.

I wish I had some artistic talent. Alas I cannot draw to save my life.

It's not that you can't draw, it's that you're not willing to suck at it for a long, long time! That to me is the biggest roadblock for any creative endeavor.
I've been drawing all my life (well, since 3 years old) and I regularly get owned by artists who are 16. It's all relative and very easy to get discouraged. |

It's just like ol' Jack Burton says...
It's all in the reflexes. I've been drawing for 24 years. It just takes time, patience, and just a bit of a natural eye for things (though you can overcome that need with practice). |

What I really need to work on is my writing. I wrote quite a bit when I was younger (ie still in school), but I can't remember the last time I wrote a piece of poetry or prose.

Well, yeah. But just like music, there are fundamentals (like knowing your scales, keys, etc) and when you see a young person completely in control of those fundamentals that I'm still trying to perfect, it can be discouraging. But that just makes me want to learn more.

I guess when it's your art(as in trade). As far as I can tell though, you're no Rob Liefeld. And that makes you awesome. Can they do quality art on DS you must ask? You'll never see them get the chance, so you when.
![]() Well this makes Rob awesome though kinda. |
