More DS art!

Here are a couple of creatures I was working on while on the plane on a business trip.
Although I didn't see Pan's Labryinth, I'm pretty sure that I saw some concept art and trailers that must have inspired the shape of this guy's head. I really liked the pencil-like quality I achieved and the fade-out on his right rear foot instead of drawing the details of it. I'm also pretty proud of some of the musculature, although the neck still seems weird to me.
This little guy expresses how I felt after sitting in a hot plane at the gate for about 6 hours. We had the option to leave but weren't guaranteed we'd have a flight if we got off.

I like the first creature. Reminds me of something I had in my head a while back. I was writing a story about a planet of humanoid-ish beings that were like for legged people. There environment though kind of gave them a more elongated body, the feet were more "animated" ape-ish. Like second hands damn near. And the arms and legs were I guess more muscular.
I think the world is best compared to Earth if it was all merky and nothing but tall trees. So there aren't flat surfaces, just kind of tree to tree action. But they aren't trees on this planet. It was weird. That last picture looks like something from a drug commercial about depression. |

Yea I follow what you're saying about both. I can totally see the second guy becoming all happy after taking a pill.
I like your idea, you should flesh that out a bit and finish the story. Then see if I can draw your characters... |

 I would love to see something in my head with my eyes.BUT I thought about posting this blurb I wrote just to see if writing was something I could do. What happened was pretty bad. I have since decide I'd rather not turn my blog into a land of lulz. I try to shrug it off cause I was in high school but that was no excuse. Maybe if I refine that or come with something new. |
