Seriously... be nice?
I haven't quite given up my status over at the old place (give it a couple days) - I'm basically trying to deal with the fallout, and lead as many people over here as quietly as possible. Right now though, what I want to say is something that I hope people will take to heart.
Even though most (if not all) of us have come from Evil Avatar, there is NO reason whatsoever to go back there simply to try to start trouble. Hell, there's not even much reason to go over there to shill this site. This site will do well (and pull in everyone you talked to) WITHOUT resorting to that. And it'd probably be pointless if you did, because your post would get deleted anyways. (Not to mention that Evil's banned both "cog" and "colonyofgamers" as words from his site.)
All I'm saying is this: if you plan on leaving EvAv permanently, do it quietly, and with dignity. Be classy, like the founders of this site were when they left. You represent an awesome new community now - don't make new kids at EvAv think that CoG is filled with obnoxious blowhards. If you're going to go over and try to spread the word, try to do it with PMs and not with public threads or posts.
This new site is a place of positivity, we don't need to drag old baggage to the new house. Thanks for your time.

Aren't the blogs pretty much available to everyone? I think I clicked on read one before I made my first post.
As to the topic, I haven't been back to EvAv since right after PAX and the dissipation of the afterglow. My account's still there though. I can be the secret man on the inside! |

I hear ya psuedo, we need good men like you on the other side to work the underground railroad. If you see anyone in the RB DLC thread still wondering what's going on can you give them a nudge for me. I think I got everyone but there's always stragglers.
