Motivation...

The motivation process starts with an unsatisfied need. The need is the spark that initiates the chain of events leading to behavioral change.
This was something I found on Google. My prof said the same thing last week in class, but I didn't remember his exact words.

But here is my problem, apparently I can't find my unsatisfied need. I think I've become so complacent with the way my life is for so long, I didn't even notice how stale it became.

I've been looking for the answer, the need, but I think my only option is find a plan and put in motion something I can't stop. Like those folks who quit there job and go to Hollywood only to become a waiter. At least they are trying right? Luckily I don't think that's possible for me, but I would finally be forced to make sure I swim (sink or swim) in what has become my life. Right now I'm wearing concrete boots, waiting for the high tide to finish me off.

I'm feeling pretty bummed... all about nothing.

I've been the same way sometimes. It's weird. You know you could be doing something and being excited, you just can't figure out what it should be.

I know what it should be doing. Better said what I want to do. I just don't have the internal friction that's caused by the unsatisfied need to go after it.

I really think I have something in my bag where the sky is the limit.
