OK, I'm still hooked on Game Dev Story. This time I decided to take on the challenge of a strictly PC-only developer. Also, I wanted to follow in the footsteps of the many fine Japanese PC developers by focusing mainly on dating simulations. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be but the growth of my company was definitely a bit slower. Somewhat unintentionally, I ended up producing a million-seller Fantasy RPG series of Final Fantasy proportions. Despite wanting to focus on my dating sim roots, it was hard to ignore the huge popularity and sales numbers of Fantasy RPGs.

While being strictly PC-only reduced my sales potential, I was getting huge margins on most of my games by the end. For example, one of my more successful games made $25m on a budget of about $300k.

At this point, Pinky Games develops a new console called the Power Cube and makes an Exercise-themed Motion game called "Real Yoga" that sells 20 million copies. WTF.
