Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome) has attracted many from the indie web browsing crowd with it's simple layout and time-saving aspects. This is altogether unfair to tried and true Mozilla Firefox, which is more feature rich and has a similarly meager fingerprint on system resources.
Luckily there are two articles at Lifehacker on how to make Firefox look like Chrome (http://lifehacker.com/5059213/) and run like Chrome (http://lifehacker.com/5044518/enable-chromes-best-features-in-firefox) through plugins and themes.
This is a godsend for me. I like some of Chrome's features, but not enough to leave the functionality of Firefox behind. Luckily Firefox's add-on community have developed similar extensions, in some cases years before Chrome was even announced.
