I figured I'd make my own "arrival" thread as well, so that everyone here can shower me with the attention and love that I deserve!

No really, I thought it would be funny to make a second thread and see how long it took someone to call me on it. I knew that you guys would be on that in record time, so thanks for proving me right! I knew I loved this community for a reason!

I've tried to watch it with my boyfriend because it's one of his favorite shows, but I keep having to leave the room because I'm so stressed. :( It happens to me with a lot of good shows, unfortunately, just because I'm overly sensitive to that awkward, tense, uncomfortable humor.

That's understandable. I think it's probably a similar reaction that I have to the whole embarrassment thing. It makes me feel really uncomfortable, and I end up having to either cover my eyes and ears or leave the room.

Aww, the comedic timing is great. And with sitcoms, you know that everything has to be wrapped up by the end of the episode. Watch them, and bask in the greatness that was Arrested Development

Oh, god. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the best sitcom on the air right now. Like, man, their lives are so messed up, but the situations they get themselves into are genius. And since there is no consistent plotline (except for the waitress), the things they do never really has to matter. Ah, comedy.

I haven't seen either, though I've been told I'd probably like them. :(

You can see "It's Always Sunny" from the beginning on hulu.com

Dang. I would have said to go to Hulu.com but they've taken some episode off. :(

Wow, they did. It looks like it's just from the end of season 4, though.

You can start from the beginning but there will be missing episodes here and there. Not many.

I want to be gay too. Can I? I have too many children as it is...:D
Maybe I'll just settle for a vasectomy!
I guess you can be my daddy. ;)
Does that mean we feel comfortable around you, or just that you bring out our freakiness? :D
I like to think it's a little of both! :)

She's just a hockey maam from the great state of Alaska. It's an energy state, don'tcha know?

Since we're apparently discussing television shows now...
I've been catching up on a few of them on DVD. I'm really into Weeds now, as well as Ugly Betty, Arrested Development, and Desperate Housewives. I want to check out It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia soon, as well as The Wire and Oz.

MmMmMmmm... The Wire. If only you could liquify it and inject it into your veins.

I liked the British sitcoms (Britcoms?) that used to be on NPT, such as Keeping Up Appearances (oh no, the Bucket woman!) and Waiting for God. So damn hilarious...
