Cliff Harris, the independent game developer with Positech who gained attention for trying to open an honest dialogue with pirates (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080814-you-want-to-know-why-pirates-give-indie-game-dev-an-earful.html) has finally released Kudos 2.

The outcome from that dialogue was reducing the pricing of Kudos 2 from $29.95 to $19.95, providing a fairly lengthy demo (available here (http://www.positech.co.uk/kudos2/Kudos2DemoInstaller.exe)), and to use no DRM at all.

For those of you unfamiliar with the series, the original Kudos was a great life simulation game, reminiscent of Alter Ego (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alter_Ego_(video_game)) rather than a Sims clone. I really recommend picking up the demo, the new artwork and interface is tons better than in the original.
