This is how the game box is going to look when you finally get your unworthy hands on it. By ways of joystiq. (http://www.joystiq.com/photos/brutal-legend-box-art/)

For some reason I think the PS3 cover looks better. Probably due to the nuclear green edges of the 360 cover "stealing color" from the artwork.
Love the "S" in Schafer.

For a comedy game thta's pretty good. PS3 does look better, but they almost always do because of the green.

I was half expecting some parody of some alamgam of heavy metal albums, to be honest.

I hope they rock up the ESRB content tag too.
Just because.

That'd be great, but it's actually against ESRB rules to "draw attention" to the ESRB rating. The logic is, that could be seen as advertising what it's rated. "Hey, kids! This is rated M! You want to play this!"
Conker's Bad Fur Day originally had a large, tilted M rating to make sure it wasn't accidentally purchased for younguns, and they had to change it.

If anything, wouldn't metalling the hell out of the M just make it blend in, just the opposite?
I do like how EA's been modding its logo to fit the theme of each game. Red Alert 3? Reds and oranges and the hammer and sickle. Mass Effect 2? Starburst. Brutal Legend? Metallic fire and demon's head. It's a subtle thing, but it makes them look less corporate-douche, and I approve. (Maybe for NHL 10, they'll do a textured hockey puck. Madden 10 will be gridiron. Never know.)

As I said elsewhere, I'm very glad they actually put "A Tim Schafer Game" on the cover. I was fully expecting them to play up the Jack Black aspect instead.

I'll bet there will be a sticker with "STARRING JACK BLACK!" in big letters, and "also starring Tim Curry" in much smaller letters under it. The sticker will come off when you remove the shrinkwrap.

I really, really hope we see some Maiden references. I'm curious if Tim had phoned in to Bruce....or Nicko.

I agree with this.
I'm not surprised this is the cover art. It seems when i've read about the game in various gaming mags, this pic was associated with the article. I like the cover...just hoping for something I hadn't seen.

That's what the back cover is for. A huge pic of JB with one of his patented looks. I didn't say I want that...just what i'm anticipating on the back cover:(

If there is a plane in the game, Bruce should pilot it.

17 minutes of gameplay from the tutorial level of the game, narrated by Tim Schafer.
I don't really need to say it do I, but here be some small gameplay spoilers, so if you want to figure out some of the early stuff yourself or just want to go into the game completely virgin - stay away.

Still one of my most anticipated games of 09.

I almost clicked, but decided to stay a virgin. I might not get to play this until after the semester is over but I'm hoping it's going to be worth the wait.
